The Sensations Marching Unit began in 1993 with 6 members known as the Showstoppers.  It was later named the Sensations in 1994.   In 2001, the Sensations became a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Community Youth Organization.  The group has had competitive dance teams, drumlines, guards and majorettes as well as recreational, non competitive members.  Over 1000+ members have been a part of the Sensations Organization over the past 30+ years.  Membership is open to anyone from all locations within the tri-state area. The Sensations and its members have marched and/or performed up and down the East Coast and mid-west to include DisneyWorld, FL, Pigeon Forge TN, Greensboro, NC, Cedar Point, OH, Canton, OH, Oglebay, WV, Wildwood, NJ, etc.  They hold numerous Tournament Indoor Association All Chapter Championship National Titles as well as Twirling Unlimited International Titles and National Baton Twirling Assn & AAU Jr. Olympic and State individual titles.  They enjoy sharing their talents with their communities. The Sensations were honored to have been selected and featured in a tv series for a parade scene in the "Outsiders", filmed in Millvale, PA. The Sensations are respectively known as a reputable baton twirling/guard organization for its professional instruction and dedication to the sport of twirling & guard.
